Adilabad (Telangana): Students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV), Neradigonda in this district on Monday staged a protest by standing on the top of their hostel building demanding quality food.
It may be noted here that the students of KGBV, Neradigonda numbering 25 fell ill on Sunday due to food poisoning. They were shifted to RIMS hospital here for treatment.
When the KGBV authorities locked their hostel main gate, the students held a protest on the top of their hostel building.
They alleged that they have been served food containing worms and stones for the last three days and demanded the supply of quality food.
Later the students called off the protest after an assurance given by the concerned KGBV authorities.
