Churachandpur: As a continuation of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Campaign, ‘Jan Bhagidaari – Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle’, the District Administration, Churachandpur today conducted campaigns at six locations across the district. The camps were conducted at Leisang village in Tuibong Sub- Division, Tuilaphai village in Henglep Sub-division, Dampi Village in Samulamlan Sub-Division, Sangaikot Sub-Division and Suangdoh Sub-Division in Churachandpur district . The camps were supervised by the concerned SDOs with overall incharge by SDCs and staff.
As part of the nationwide PM-JANMAN and DAJGUA outreach, the programme is organised to strengthen public participation in developmental activities, welfare schemes and grievance redressal through coordinated efforts of the administration and line departments.
During the outreach campaigns across multiple villages, line departments conducted various service delivery activities such as awareness on government schemes, collection of grievances and suggestions, review of development issues and coordination among departments and stakeholders were undertaken. Officials and locals participating in the transect walk under Janjatiya Garima Utsav 2026 as a village connect activity. The Health Department conducted free medical check-ups and distributed medicines to patients. The Forest department distributed free tree saplings and urged people to protect forests and conserve the environment. Officials also addressed issues related to PM-JAY, issued of forms and received for Chief Minister’s Widow Pension Scheme(CMWPS), Manipur Old Age pension (MOAP) updation, Person with disabilities and Chief Minister’s Scholarship for ST students(PWD CMST) and CMHT health cards. State Bank of India and Central Bank of India provided services on social security schemes, resolving insurance-related matters under PMJJBY, PMSBY, and APY. The SDO Offices issued caste certificates and domicile certificates, Affidavit, birth order issued, Aadhar updation to eligible applicants on the spot. The Block Development Offices and Rural Development departments addressed employments and livelihood schemes like MGNREGS, PMAY-G updation, PM Viswakarma, Mudra loans-related grievances and queries. Departments including Women and Child Welfare, Agriculture, PWD, Education, Social Welfare, MSPDCL, and PHED departments set up stalls and rendered services pertaining to their respective sectors, ensuring direct benefit delivery to the local tribal population during the campaigns.
District Level Officers (DLOs), officials from line departments, NGOs, SHGs, VDVK members, village Chiefs and a large number of villagers, including men and women from different villages actively participated in the campaign and availed of various government services.
