Shillong: Altogether, six candidates will fight it out for the 1-Shillong (ST) Parliamentary Constituency which goes to poll in April 19, 2024.
Dr. Mazel Ampareen Lyngdoh will be contesting from the National People’s Party, Dr. Ricky Andrew Syngkon will represent the Voice of People’s Party, third in the serial number is Robertjune Kharjahrin who is contesting from the United Democratic Party.
The Indian National Congress has once again fielded Vincent H Pala who won from this constituency in 2019. The two independent candidates, Prof Lakhon Peter Shallam make up the complete list.
