Sikkim records one death, 40 new corona positive cases

Gangtok: Sikkim recorded one death due to COVID-19 and 40 new cases in the last 24 hours, according to the state health department data on Monday.

With 40 new cases being registered, the total tally has increased to 31,266.

“While there are 612 active cases, 29,955 affected people have been discharged. The total number of people who died due to coronavirus stands at 386,” said Sonam Bhutia, Information, Education and Communication Officer, Health Department.
