Gangtok: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday wished Sikkim Chief Minister P S Tamang long life and best of health on his birthday.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also wished Tamang success in all his endeavours.
“Wish you success in all your endeavors, as you continue to work for Sikkim and the Nation,’ he wished.
Tamang, who turned 55 during the day, went to the rural pocket of Melli in South Sikkim district and gifted blankets, shawls, other relief material and financial help to the needy.
Before that, he visited Rolu temple in South Sikkim and offered his birthday prayers. Most of Tamang’s Sikkim Krantikari Morcha functionaries extended help to poor villagers in different constituencies.on the occasion.
