Sikkim: CM Tamang congratulates Droupadi Murmu on her victory

Gangtok: Sikkim Chief Minister Tamang greeted Droupadi Murmu on her victory in the country’s presidential election and extended his best wishes on behalf of the State Government and the people of Sikkim, here on Friday.

“Wishing Madam Murmu a fruitful tenure”, he said, adding “This victory, Droupadi Murmu, the first tribal woman to be elected to the office of the President of India, makes it a historic day”.

‘It is a momentous day and will forever be imprinted in the glorious history of the country,’ said CM Tamang.

The Chief Minister further extended best wishes to Ms. Murmu, on being elected the 15 President-Elect, and wished her good health and successful tenure.
