Rs 94.67 crore provided to business units under Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan in Manipur

From Rs 5,000 crore special credit facilities for street vendors (PM SVANidhi), 9304 number of loans have been sanctioned of which 5046 are for PM SVANidhi and 4258 for MUDRA respectively.

Imphal: Under the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan (Self-reliant India campaign), 7867 business unit including MSMEs in the state were provided working capital facility amounting to Rs 94.67 crores from the Rs 3 lakh crore emergency working capital facilities.

As per the meeting proceedings of the Economic Task Force constituted by the Government of Manipur for effective implementation of the announcements made under Aatmanibhar Bharat Abhiyan, Handloom & Textiles Department launched the ‘Paonamart’ e-portal (under the e-market linkages) on December 10, 2020. Till date 800 vendors have registered on the portal and a target is set to register 5000 by December 31, 2021.

From Rs 5,000 crore special credit facilities for street vendors (PM SVANidhi), 9304 number of loans have been sanctioned of which 5046 are for PM SVANidhi and 4258 for MUDRA respectively. The credit facility for street vendors will be extended in hill areas where the National Urban Livelihood Mission is being implemented as per the agreement of the Government of India.       Under Kisan Credit Card Scheme, 3612 KCCs have been sanctioned with an amount of Rs. 21.43 crores till date.

Under the Rs. 10000 crore Schemes for Formalization of Micro Food Enterprises (MFEs), the ‘One District One Product’ identification has been completed.
