Kakching: To commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) was observed by the District Administration, Kakching at the DC complex, Kakching.
As part of the observation, a Unity Run from Kakching Bazar to the DC complex was organized where students and officials participated. Deputy Commissioner, Somorjit Salam led the gathering at the NIC Hall in paying floral tributes to the portrait of Sardar Vallabhai Patel.
The DC also administered the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas pledge to the participants composed of DLOs, students, teachers and staff of the District Administration.
