Public holiday in Assam’s Sonabarighat Gaon

Guwahati: Assam government Saturday announced 28 September as public holiday for Bye Election for the post of President of 09 No. Sonabarighat Gaon Panchayat under Cachar District where polling will be held on that day as notified by Assam State Election Commission.

All the government/non government offices, educational institutions, and business establishments including Banks, Tea Garden and Industries etc, falling within the 09 No. Sonabarighat Gaon Panchayat areas of Cachar District will remain closed on 28^thSeptember, 2022 on account of this Public Holiday under N.I. Act.
