Presidential polls: 59 legislators exercise franchise

Kohima:  The Presidential Election was successfully conducted in Nagaland on Monday at the Annexe, Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat in Kohima where out of 60 MLAs, 59 casted their votes.

According to an official release issued by the Additional Secretary of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat and Assistant Returning Officer of the Presidential Election, 2022, Khruohituonuo Rio said that 59 sitting members of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly participated in the election. 

She also stated that Kejong Chang was the oldest member who took part.
