Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Covid-19 tally rose to 16,840 with detection of a fresh case of infection in the last 24 hours.
As per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services, the new case was reported from Changlang and is symptomatic.
With this, active cases in the state rose to four. Of the remaining three, two are from Tirap and one from Itanagar Capital Complex.
According to the bulletin, the recovery tally continued to remain at 16,780 as no patient was discharged in the last 24 hours. The recovery rate is over 99 percent.
Death toll stood at 56.
