Kakching: The Zonal Education Office, Kakching, under the supervision of the District Administration, organised a painting competition at 18 schools across Kakching district as part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026.
A total of 353 students, including 179 boys and 174 girls, participated in the competition held today under the theme “My Vision of Viksit Manipur–2047.”
The competition was conducted at Sora Kakching PM School, Sekmaijin Primary School, Sekmaijin Khunou Komlakhong Mamang Primary School, Tangjeng Khunou Primary School, Tokpaching Primary School, Wabagai Awang Leikai Primary School, Wabagai Thambal Chingya Primary School, Wabagai Thingel Leikai Primary School, Waikhong Uyung Khunou Primary School, Wangoo Laipham Awang Primary School, Wangoo Warukok Primary School, Elangkhangpokpi Junior High School, Irengband Upper Primary School, Kakching Central Upper Primary School, Kakching Khullen Upper Primary School, Arong Khunou Primary School, Kakching Loumi Upper Primary School and Kakching Turel Wangma Junior High School.
The painting competition will continue at different schools across Kakching district on September 21, as part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026.
On the other hand, the Kakching Municipal Council (KMC) is conducting cleanliness drive at various locations as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva (Cleanliness is Service), 2026 campaign.
