Imphal: A joint team of 37 Assam Rifles and a team of Kakching Police Station arrested one person from Sora Chingwangmai area namely Md. Riyash Khan (22yrs) son of Md. Jaya Khan of Sora Chingwangmai Village, Kakching District and seized 45 gram of Methamphetamine contraband drug, one Chevrolet Beat car bearing registration number ML05J 5007 and one mobile phone from his possession on January 1, at around 10:30 am.
The arrested person along with the seized items was handed over to Kakching PS and a case has been registered for further investigation in this regard, said a press note from the PRO, Manipur Police.
