Notification for 1st phase of 12 Manipur Legislative Assembly election issued

Imphal: The notifications of elections for the 1^st phase for 38 Assembly Constituencies of five districts- Imphal East, Imphal West, Bishnupur, Churachandpur and Kangpokpi have been issued by the concerned Returning Officers on Tuesday. 

Nomination papers shall be received from February 1, 2022, onwards till February 8, 2022.

The scrutiny of nomination papers will be held on February 9, 2022, while the last date for withdrawal of candidature will be on February 11, 2022. No candidate has filed nomination till 3 PM.
