No Covid related death reported Wednesday in Manipur

The recovery rate of the state stands at 98.05 %.

Imphal: Manipur did not report any Covid-related death in the last 24 hours leading upto 2 pm of Wednesday. During the same time 50 persons (46 general population, 4 CAPF) tested positive and 81 persons recovered and were discharged, as per an official release from the Health Department.

Of the 46 persons from the general population who tested positive, 14 are from Imphal East, 11 Imphal West, five from Churachandpur, four from Chandel, three each from Thoubal and Bishnupur, Two each from Kakching and Senapati and one each from Kamjong and Tengnoupal.

Altogether 1,352 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 3.7 % 

Meanwhile, 81 persons recovered and were discharged, 65 of them from home isolation, eight from CCCs, five JNIMS and three from RIMS. 

The recovery rate of the state stands at 98.05 %. 

The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 36, 598 out of which 1, 33, 929 have recovered leaving 565 active cases.

The total number of doses administered on February 22, 2022, is 4,564, the cumulative number of doses administered is 26,30, 504 (1st dose 15,02, 411, 2nd dose 11,21, 145) and precautionary dose 56,888.
