Nagaland to administer Sputnik vaccines

According to official sources , the two-dose vaccine will be made available for 4,800 persons at the private hospital

Kohima: The Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department has informed that the Sputnik V, the two-dose COVID-19 vaccine from Russia, will be available to all beneficiaries above 18 years at two private hospitals in Kohima and Dimapur from Monday.

According to official sources initially, the two-dose vaccine will be made available for 4,800 persons at the private hospital, Bethesda Hospital in Kohima and Faith Hospital in Dimapur and the vaccines will be available from Monday to Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM, where the process for registration/booking on Cowin will remain the same as for Covishield.

The cost of the vaccine per dose will be Rs. 1,145 (Government of India rate with 5% GST per dose is Rs. 995.40 and private hospitals administering the vaccine will charge Rs.150 over and above the rate as service charge and for consumables.
