Kohima: The new cases of COVID-19 in Nagaland further decreased to 94, which increased the total number of COVID- 19 cases with this total of 26, 838 patients so far.
According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the 94 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from all nine districts of Nagaland with 43cases in Dimapur, 34 cases in Kohima, seven in Mokokchung, four in Wokha, two in Longleng, one in Mon, one in Phek, one in Tuensang and one in Zunheboto, taking the total caseload to 26838.
Altogether 72 COVID-19 positive patients were recovered in Nagaland yesterday taking the total recovery at 24,393 patients. With the above situation, the state has now 1,160 active cases,
With two more COVID related deaths in Dimapur, the death toll surged to 532, the bulletin added.
