Nagaland records 62 new COVID positive cases

Altogether 60 COVID-19 positive patients were recovered in Nagaland yesterday taking the total recovery at 24,321 patients, with a recovery rate of 90.94 per cent.

Kohima: The new cases of COVID-19 in Nagaland yesterday further decreased to 62 new cases, which increased the total number of COVID- 19 cases with this total of 26, 744 patients so far as of yesterday.

According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the 106 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from all seven districts of Nagaland with 22 cases in Kohima, 17 cases in Longleng, nine in Dimapur, six in Mokokchung, three in Mon, three in Tuensang and two in Wokha, taking the total caseload to 26,744, out of them 746 COVID-19 patients have migrated to other states.

With two more COVID related deaths, one in Dimapur and another in Kohima, the death toll surged to 530, the bulletin said.
