Kohima: Nagaland recorded 14 new Covid cases yesterday taking the tally to 31,726 so far and with two more death reports, the toll remained at 679.
According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the five fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from six districts of Nagaland, six cases in Dimapur, two cases in Kohima, two in Mokokchung, two in Wokha, one in Mon and one in Tuensang, taking the tally to 31,726 with a daily positivity rate of 1.82 per cent.
On the recovery of COVID-19 infected patients in the State, altogether a total of eight patients recuperated from the infection in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 29,768, with a recovery rate in the state stood at 93.82 per cent.
Nagaland has the active case tally at Nagaland currently has 247 active cases, out of the 194 active cases are asymptomatic, 40 are mild symptomatic and five are ‘moderate on oxygen,’ two are on oxygen support, four in the ICU and two on the ventilator. As two more persons from Dimapur and Tuensang districts succumbed to the disease, the death toll rose to 681, it said.
