Kohima: The new cases of COVID-19 in Nagaland yesterday increased to 105 new cases, which increased the total number of COVID -19 cases with this total of 26, 838 patients so far as of yesterday.
According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the 105 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from all eight districts of Nagaland with 45 new cases in Dimapur, 37 cases in Kohima, 10 in Tuensang, eight in Mokokchung, two in Zunheboto, one in Longleng, one in Mon and one in Phek, taking the total caseload to 26,943.
Altogether 41 COVID-19 positive patients were recovered in Nagaland yesterday taking the total recovery at 24,434 patients. With the above situation, the state has now 1,218 active cases are in the state.
With three more COVID related deaths in Dimapur, Kohima and Mokokchung, the death toll surged to 535, the bulletin said.
