Itanagar: Nabam Abu has been crowned ‘Mr Arunachal 2021’ at the 8th State Level Bodybuilding Championship held at Changlang on Monday, official sources said on Tuesday.
Kiran Tayeng and Banti Roy bagged the first and second runner-up titles respectively. Apart from getting a trophy and a certificate, the winner was awarded a cash prize of Rs one lakh.
More than 60 bodybuilding enthusiasts from all over the state participated in the event, organized by the Arunachal Body Building Association (ABBA).Competitions were also held for men & women physique, master/veteran competition and differently abled category.
State Assembly Deputy Speaker Tesam Pongte, Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Anirudh Singh and Changlang SP Mihin Gambo, among others, witnessed the event, sources added.
