Mizoram CEO takes stock of the bye-election preparations

Addressing the officials, P Jawahar said that he found the various preparations satisfactory but asked them to remain alert and aware as there was still a long way to go for the success of the election.

Serchhip: Chief Electoral Officer, Mizoram, P Jawahar, visited 26-Serchhip ST assembly constituency to see the various preparations being taken up for the coming bye-election.

The Chief Elector Officer first visited the only two rural Polling Stations within 26-Serchhip ST assembly constituency at Neihloh and Buangpui villages, following which he proceeded on to Serchhip and held a meeting with all Nodal Officers.

Addressing the officials, P Jawahar said that he found the various preparations satisfactory but asked them to remain alert and aware as there was still a long way to go for the success of the election. He thanked the District Election Officer and all the concerned officials for their efficiency and good arrangements and wished them a successful bye election.

District Election Officer, Abhishek Kumar, also gave a power point presentation showing the various preparations taken till date and the steps yet to be taken. General Observer, Lokesh Kumar, and Expenditure Observer, Laxmi Kanth also gave their observations over the preparation for the election.

Mizoram CEO P Jawahar was accompanied by Jt. CEO, David L. Pachuau, and Asst. CEO,  H Lalrinpuia, from Aizawl.
