Imphal: In the last 24 hours leading up to 5:00 pm of Friday, three persons from the general population and two personnel of the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) tested Covid-19 positive 12 persons recovered and discharged in Manipur. During the same period there were no reports of any Covid related death, as per an official press note from the Covid-19 Common Control Room
The three persons (1 male 2 female) belong to Imphal West, Imphal East and Tengnoupal. All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing have been put in place.
Of the 12 persons who recovered on Friday, 10 of them were in home isolation while two of them were admitted to JNIMS.
The cumulative death remains at 374 while the recovery rate now stands at 98.53%
Meanwhile, the Health department has instructed air passengers who travelled to the state on March 31, 2021, by the Indigo flight 6E-2251 in rows 16-22 and in rows 30-40 and by Air India flight AI-889 in rows 12-18 to inform Covid Common Control Room 1800343818 or respective District Surveillance Officer (DSO).
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,406 (General Population — 25,960 and Central Security Personnel — 3,446). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28,975 (General Population — 25,542 and CAPF— 3,433). The number of active cases is 57 (general population 48 and CAPF 9).
As per the latest information, the number of people vaccinated on April 1, is 377 and the cumulative vaccination number is 86708, the release added.
The total number of health care workers who have been vaccinated is 315624 include the Directors of RIMS and JNIMS, CMOs, DFWOs DIOs of districts, chairman cum managing directors of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnostics’.
