Meghalaya signs MoU with Tamil Nadu to build medical professionals

Shillong: The Meghalaya government on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government to facilitate knowledge exchange and capacity building of medical professionals.

Health Minister James Sangma met with Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma Subramanian to finalise the signing of the agreement. This is the first collaboration of its kind between the two states.

“As we slowly build the health infrastructure of our state, we as a Government are committed to providing access, quality and affordable healthcare for all,” Sangma tweeted.
