Imphal: The North East Congress Coordination Committee held its meeting at The Claridges in New Delhi Wednesday.
The meeting was attended by top Congress leaders from the states of North East India.
Manipur PCC President K. Meghachandra and Senior Spokesperson Ningombam Bupenda Meitei attended the meeting.
The other top North East Congress leaders, who attended the meeting, were Assam PCC President Bhupen Bora, Assam CLP Leader Devabrata Saikia, Nagaland PCC President K. Therie, Tripura PCC President Birajit Sinha and a few other senior leaders from the region.

The meeting was chaired by its Chairman and former Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Nabam Tuki and Convenor Pradyut Bordoloi, Lok Sabha MP from Assam.
Later, Congress leaders from the North East met Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge at his residence, where they discussed strengthening the organisation.
