Imphal: In the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Saturday, Manipur reported12 positive cases and 53 recoveries, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the 12 persons who tested positive, five are from Imphal East, three from Imphal West and one each from Chandel, Kakching, Senapati and Thoubal. Altogether, 366 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 3.3 %.
Meanwhile, 53 persons recovered, 29 discharged, 17 from home isolation, four from JINIMS, two CAPF and one from RIMS. The recovery rate of the state as of Saturday stands at 98.33 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 39, 502 of which 1, 37,176 have recovered leaving 183 active cases in the state.
As on August 12, 2022, 36 D-type oxygen cylinders and 0 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available at different health facilities in Manipur.
The status of Covid Hospital facilities in the state as on August 13, 2022 are as follows: JNIMS has a total of 38 beds out of which 10 are occupied and 28 are vacant. RIMS has a total of 62 beds out of which 10 are occupied and 52 are vacant.
The total number of doses administered on August 12, is 2,936, the cumulative number of doses administered is 31,44,258 (1st dose 16,23,175, 2nd dose 12,94,069) and precautionary dose is 2,27,014.
