Manipur teachers donate salary to CM Covid fund

The Government College teachers had also donated One Day Salary to Chief Minister’s Covid-19 Relief Fund in 2020.

Imphal: The Federation of Government College Teachers’ Associations (FEGOCTA), decided to donate a One Day Salary to the Chief Minister’s Covid-19 Relief Fund.

The Government College teachers had also donated One Day Salary to Chief Minister’s Covid-19 Relief Fund in 2020.

Citizens and government employees should contribute and support whatever possible way to the Government and stakeholders to save lives and protect people against the Covid-19 pandemic. FEGOCTA also appealed to the students and general public to take extra care and stay safe by following Covid-19 appropriate behaviour.

FEGOCTA made some suggestions to the Chief Minister as a supplement to the ongoing measures taken up by the Government.

CM N. Biren Singh has also expressed his gratitude to Dr Thangjam Dhabali, Chairman and Managing Director of Babina Group for donating Rs 10 lakhs.

Earlier during the day Manipur Civil Service (MCS) Association along with some IAS/SCS officers of the 2007 batch had donated 50 D-Type Oxygen Cylinders to Chief Minister’s COVID-19 Relief Fund.
