Panaji: Goa reported 1647 new cases of Covid 19 and 39 deaths during the last 24 hours.
According to daily bulletin issued by Directorate of Health Services (DHS), with the new cases, number of total confirmed cases in the state increased to 1,44,839 while number of total deaths shot up to 2,341.
There were 2693 recoveries during the last 24 hours which took the number of total recoveries in the state to 1,24,255.
Recovery rate in the state improved to 85.79 per cent.
On Saturday, 1451 new patients were sent for home isolation, 196 were admitted to hospitals while 151 were discharged.
As many as 4581 new samples were tested on Saturday taking the number of total samples tested so far to 7,83,409.
The number of active cases in the state decreased to 18,243.
