Imphal: Tengnoupal battalion foiled cross border smuggling of contraband items near Kwatha village, Tengnoupal District on December 1 and nabbed smuggled goods worth Rs 11.60 lakhs.
During routine patrolling, troops of Assam Rifles spotted and recovered huge quantity of contraband items in jungle area near Kwatha village.
The recovered items were handed over to Custom Prevention Force for further legal action.
