Imphal: A team of the Manipur Legislative Assembly members visited villages located in the peripheral areas and foothills and spoke with the villagers.
During the interactions, the villagers’ highlighted their grievances and concerns before the team, which included mostly security, supply of essential commodities among many other things.
The team visited Leimaram Chidu Waterfall, Saiton, Nganukon, Phoubakchao etc and interacted with the villagers and assured that the government effort is to provide security and ensure protection of the people especially those in the peripheral areas.
The team comprised of MLA of Sagolband AC RK Imo, MLA Mayang Imphal AC Kongkham Robindro Singh, MLA of Patsoi AC Sapam Kunjakeswor Singh, MLA of Lamlai AC Khongbantabam Ibomcha Singh, MLA of Thanga AC Shri Tongbram Robindro Singh, MLA of Kumbi AC S Premchandra Singh, MLA of Oinam AC Smt. Irengbam Nalini Devi.
After taking stock of the situation, the team also provided help and assistance to the villagers.
