Imphal: In the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Sunday, Manipur reported six positive cases and 25 recoveries, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the six persons who tested positive, three are from Imphal West and one each from Bishnupur, Chandel and Imphal East. Altogether, 251 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 2.4 %.
Meanwhile, 25 persons recovered, 20 from home isolation, three RIMS and two from JINIMS. The recovery rate of the state as of Saturday stands at 98.35 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 39, 508 of which 1, 37,201 have recovered leaving 64 active cases in the state.
As on August 13, 2022, 173 D-type oxygen cylinders and one B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available at different health facilities in Manipur.
The status of Covid Hospital facilities in the state as on August 14, 2022 are as follows: JNIMS has a total of 38 beds out of which eight are occupied and 30 are vacant. RIMS has a total of 62 beds out of which seven are occupied and 55 are vacant.
The total number of doses administered on August 13, is 502, the cumulative number of doses administered is 31,44,837 (1st dose 16,23,222, 2nd dose 12,94,256) and precautionary dose is 2,27,359.
