Imphal: In the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Sunday, Manipur reported seven new positive cases, nil Covid-related deaths and four recoveries, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the seven persons who tested from the general population, three are from Imphal West and two each from Thoubal and Ukhrul. A total of 190 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 3.7 %.
Meanwhile, four persons recovered and were discharged, three of them from home isolation and one from CCCs. The recovery rate in the state now stands at 98.42 %
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 37, 156 out of which 1, 34, 992 have recovered leaving 44 active cases.
The total number of doses administered on April 9, is 700, the cumulative number of doses administered is 28,04,205 (1st dose 15,48, 006, 2nd dose 11,88,390) and precautionary dose 67,809.
