Imphal: The Chief Minister of Manipur, N Biren Singh, greeted the people of Manipur on the occasion of the “74thRepublic Day of our great nation.”
In his message on the occasion, CM Biren said that “we celebrate January 26 every year, commemorating the enactment of our Constitution, which came into full force on January 26, 1950, and made our country a sovereign, secular, and democratic republic.”
The Chief Minister call upon all to “remember and pay homage to our visionary leaders in the Constituent Assembly who have gifted us our Constitution.” “On this day, let us not only rejoice but also reaffirm our commitment and strive to make our nation greater and stronger.”
Continuing further, he said that “India is moving forward under the people-centric governance of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi and becoming a key leader in the world. India is now steadily embarking on the path to becoming a great power where her voice is heard, respected, and seen as an equal partner.”
In conclusion, he called on all to “take a pledge to protect our nation from evil in all forms. On this auspicious occasion, let us also rededicate ourselves to working in unison to make Manipur a land of peace and prosperity.”
