Bengaluru: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President DK Shivakumar will reach Jaipur on Saturday evening to participate in the Mehangai Hatao rally against inflation being organized by Congress tomorrow.
“Shivakumar will board an Indigo flight at 3:20 pm today at Kempegowda International Airport. The flight will arrive at Jaipur at 6 pm. The next day, Shivakumar will attend the rally and return to Bengaluru at 9:05 pm,” the KPCC chief’s office said.
Congress National Spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala has already reached Jaipur.
The rally has been planned to raise awareness among people against the central government’s anti-people policy. It aims at highlighting inflation and its impact on the common man.
Interim Congress President Sonia Gandhi, former party president Rahul Gandhi and general secretary Priyanka Gandhi are expected to be present at the rally with all the other national leaders of the party.
