New Delhi: India has recorded 5,221 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total tally of active caseload to 47,176, the Health Ministry said on Monday.
As many as 11 fresh fatalities took place in the last 24 hours, taking the total death count in the country since the coronavirus erupted to 528,150.
Meanwhile, 5,975 recoveries were reported in the last 24 hours, increasing the total recoveries to 4,39,25,239. The national recovery rate stands at 98.71 percent.
According to the Ministry, 88.95 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far. In the last 24 hours, a total of 184,965 tests have been conducted.
India has administered 215.26 crore doses of the Covid-19 vaccine so far.
