Imphal West DEO organizes dist level election quiz

Little Master English Higher Secondary School got first position with 115 points, Heritage Convent, Uripok got second position with 110 points and KV Langjing got third position with 100 points. The first position team will represent Imphal West district in the State level Quiz competition.

Imphal: District Election Officer/DC, Imphal West organized a district level ballot battle-quiz competition on election and electoral process today at Johnstone higher Secondary School, Imphal. 

Little Master English Higher Secondary School got first position with 115 points, Heritage Convent, Uripok got second position with 110 points and KV Langjing got third position with 100 points. The first position team will represent Imphal West district in the State level Quiz competition.

In the preliminary round of the Ballot Battle written quiz, 16 schools from different parts of Imphal West district participated. After careful examination of the preliminary round, the best six teams (KV langjing, KV Lamphel, TG Higher Secondary School, Little Master English Higher Secondary School, Heritage Convent, Uripok and Competitive Success Academy) were selected for the final quiz round. 

DC Imphal West Th. Kirankumar Singh gave away certificate to the winners as well as to the finalist team members. Cash prizes will be handed over on National Voter’s day, to be held on January 25, 2022.

It may be mentioned that today’s quiz competition is a part of the SVEEP programme and it was conducted under the supervision of  Ng. Jogendra Khumancha, SVEEP Nodal Officer, Imphal West. 

DC Imphal West Th. Kirankumar  Singh, Addl. Deputy Commissioner/ SVEEP Nodal Officer, Imphal West Ng. Jogendra Khumancha and Principal Johnstone Higher Secondary School Ph. Mantri Singh  attended the occasion as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
