Kamjong: Kamjong District Administration today observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) at the office chamber of the Deputy Commissioner, Kamjong, commemorating the 151st birth anniversary of Sadar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.
On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner L.N. Kashung led the officials present in administering the National Unity Pledge to dedicate themselves in preserving the unity, integrity and security of the nation.
L.N. Kashung, while addressing the officials during the observation, recalled the invaluable contribution of Sadar Vallabhbhai Patel in India’s national integration after independence.
Additional Deputy Commissioner H.L. Jain, Sub-Divisional Officer, Phungyar and Kasom Khullen, Sub-Deputy Collectors, District Level Officers of different departments and other officials attended the observation among others.
