Imphal: PIB has launched a special drive under the Journalist Welfare Scheme (JWS) to help the immediate families of journalists who died due to Covid-19.
The Press Information Bureau (PIB) is inviting applications in the prescribed format (application form, mandate and consent form available in PIB’s website). The application should also include proof of working as a journalist, a death certificate and medical document to show that the journalist died of Covid-19 and any proof of income certificate/IT returns of the family.
The application should be addressed to the Additional Director General of Press Facilitation, PIB with requisite documents that can be mailed to prspib101@gmail.com or adgf107@gmail.com.
