Guwahati: The Assam police have arrested three persons from Chabua and Moran in Assam’s Dibrugarh district and recovered fake currency worth Rs 26 lakhs from them.

The accused were involved in the printing and circulation of fake currency.

The accused were later produced before the court, which remanded them to judicial custody.

During interrogation, they revealed about the fake currency being staked in a building in Moran.

The police later raided the premises of the building in Moran and recovered the rest of the fake currency along with a printer.
