Imphal: A Fact-Finding Commission has been constituted to go into the circumstances leading to the firing at Sandang Senba Maring, Kangpokpi district on March 29, 2021, as per a notification signed by the Commissioner (RD & PR), Nidhhi Kesarwani on March 30. The Commission will also suggest measures to avoid such incidents in the future.
Any person willing to provide documents/evidence leading on the circumstances leading to the firing incident can do so at the officer of the Commissioner (RD & PD) room no 210, Secretariat (South Block), Imphal between 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on all days on or before April 5.
The notification further said that all persons coming to provide evidence should follow Covid SOP and that only five persons will be allowed in at one time.
