Imphal: Deputy Election Commissioner, Election Commission of India (ECI) Nitesh Vyas Wednesday reviewed various poll-related preparedness including pre-SSR activities, preparedness for Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls 2022 and other poll-related issues in connection with the upcoming election to Manipur Legislative Assembly, 2022.
Secretary (Manipur), Election Commission of India, Madhusudan Gupta also accompanied Nitesh Vyas.
CEO, Manipur, Rajesh Agrawal, Additional CEO, Manipur, Naorem Praveen Singh, Joint CEO, Manipur, Ramananda Nongmeikapam, Joint CEO (II), Manipur, Md. S. Daulat Khan attended the interaction session of Returning officers and State Nodal Officers with Deputy Election Commissioner, ECI.
DEC, ECI interacted with all the State Nodal Officers about their roles and responsibilities for the forthcoming Assembly Election, 2022. Later, late in the evening Nitesh Vyas also had a meeting with State Chief Secretary, Rajesh Kumar and State DGP, L.M. Khaute at the Office of Chief Secretary.
