Dry weather likely to prevail in Telangana, AP in next 5 days

Hyderabad/Amaravati: Dry weather is likely to prevail in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next five days, Meteorological Centre said on Wednesday.

In a bulletin here, it said the Northeast monsoon has been weak in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.

Rain occurred at one or two places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and dry weather prevailed in Yanam (Puducherry) and Telangana during the same period.

The lowest minimum temperature of 12.2 degree Celsius, 16.2 degree Celsius and 18 degree Celsius was recorded at Adilabad, Hyderabad of Telangana and Kalingapatnam of Coastal Andhra Pradesh on the intervening night of Tuesday and today, the bulletin added.
