Imphal: Information and Public Relations Minister Dr. S. Ranjan Singh today made a surprise visit at DIPR Head Office, Nityaipat Chuthek, Keishampat, Imphal.
The Minister was warmly received by the Director (IPR), H. Balkrisna Singh, Deputy Director (Press), T. Ramesh Singh, Deputy Director (HQ), DDO L. Ashok Kumar Singh and other officers and staff of the Directorate.
During his visit, the Minister inspected every section of the Directorate and held discussions on various topics in relation to the Directorate with the officers and staff. The officers and staff expressed their grievances on issues being faced by them.
Assuring to fulfil their grievances to the best possible level, the minister instructed the officers and staff to perform their duties sincerely and diligently. Dr. S. Ranjan further advised them to be punctual and reach the office on time.
Reiterating that DIPR is an important government department that plays a pivotal role in connecting the government with the public, Dr. Ranjan asked the officers and staff of the Directorate to continue working with full dedication.
He also assured to put in his best efforts for the development of the directorate. The officers and staff also expressed their sincere gratitude to the minister for his visit.
