Imphal: Manipur reported nine more positive cases in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Monday. During the same period, there was no report of any Covid-related deaths while three persons recovered, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the nine persons who tested positive from the general population, eight of them are from Imphal West while one is from Thoubal. Altogether, 128 persons were tested, amounting to a positivity rate of 5.8 %.
All the three persons who recovered are from home isolation. The recovery rate of the state now stands at 98.42 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 37, 306 out of which 1, 35, 137 have recovered leaving 49 active cases in the state.
The total number of doses administered on July 3, is 128, the cumulative number of doses administered is 29,65,695 (1st dose 15,93,637, 2nd dose 12,59,603) and the precautionary dose is 1,12,455.
