Itanagar: The number of COVID-19 recoveries exceeded the daily cases in Arunachal Pradesh.
The hilly state registered just one fresh case during the past 24 hours that taking its tally of confirmed cases to 55,155. In contrast, 19 persons recuperated from the disease in the period, a senior health official said.
Itanagar Capital Complex came up with the lone case. On the vaccination front, Arunachal Pradesh administered ‘only’ 329 COVID-19 vaccine jabs to its 18-plus populations during the last 24 hours.
While 32 people have received the first dose, 297 were given the second dose of the vaccine, as per the data made available by the State Health Department.
The state has, so far, administered 13,12,758 vaccine doses since the launch of the nationwide inoculation drive on January 16 last.
Altogether 7,76,014 beneficiaries have taken the first dose of the anti-COVID vaccine, while 5,36,744 people were fully vaccinated till date.
