Bhopal: In a situation that should set the alarm bells ringing at the government and administration levels, instances of novel coronavirus infection are rapidly rising within Madhya Pradesh where 35 fresh cases were detected on Sunday – 27 of them in the state capital itself – thus raising the total active cases figure to 82.
A Health Services Directorate bulletin issued tonight said that 2,291 samples were analysed over the past 24 hours during which seven individuals recovered. However, five new sufferers came to light in Indore, two in Jabalpur and one in Khargone. The positivity is 1.5 per cent.
As many as 10,55,147 people became infected since commencement of the outbreak but 10,44,288 of them recuperated.
