Kolasib: Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department Minister, K Lalrinliana held talks Monday with Kolasib DC, Dr HLalthlangliana, on the progress assessment made by the DC’s office for construction of the Oil Depot at Bairabi.
It was reported during the meeting that an area covering 46.7 acre under 26 names had been assessed for the construction of Oil depot at Bairabi, which has been moved for further analysis to the Departmental Land Selection and Purchase Board in March 2021.
The Minister mentioned that arrangement has been made to purchase ambulance from his MLA fund, which will operate at the Covid-19 Screening point at Bairabi to transport Covid-19 positive individuals to the nearest CCC. He also stated that 3 dialysis machines will soon be installed at Kolasib District Hospital.
The Minister and Deputy Commissioner also discussed ways to utilize Jordan Centre, Sethawn and its employees in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic.
