Banda: Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday hit out at the ruling BJP in Uttar Pradesh, alleging that the present government has spread hatred, ruined the future of the youths and pushed the state into backwardness.

The SP chief, who was here to launch the fourth phase of Samajwadi Vijay Rath Yatra from Banda to Lalitpur, questioned the people whether they need the Yogi government or a responsible and development-oriented government.

Addressing a public meeting at the GIC grounds here, he claimed that those who cannot use laptops will never give them to the youth.

“Now, it is the right time for the people to show them the way out for giving false promises. BJP government just changed the names of the projects during their entire regime,” he alleged.

Yadav is on a three-day tour to the Bundelkhand region and on the first day today, he took out the Samajwadi Vijay Rath Yatra from Banda to Mahoba.

The SP chief later addressed a rally near Mahoba Police Line. Yadav will go to Lalitpur on Thursday, where he will also address a public rally.
