Bishnupur: As part of the observance of ‘Aangan Ka Utsav’ under Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026, Deputy Commissioner Bishnupur Smt. Pooja Elangbam today visited the Ayushman Arogya Mandir, Sub-Centre Keinou, and an Anganwadi Centre at Bishnupur Thingujam Leikai.
During her visit to the Sub-Centre Keinou, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with ASHA workers and appreciated their dedicated efforts towards promoting the health and well-being of the community.
She encouraged them to continue their sincere service for the welfare of the people. The ASHA workers also expressed gratitude to the DC for her visit and shared their experiences in carrying out their duties.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. L. Raichandra and Dr. Johnson accompanied the Deputy Commissioner during the visit to the Sub-Centre.
Later, Pooja Elangbam visited the Anganwadi Centre at Bishnupur Thingujam Leikai, where she was joined by District Programme Officer Ningthoujam Babita and Child Development Project Officer Thounaojam Kamala.
The DC interacted with the Anganwadi Workers and appreciated their continued efforts towards the care, development and well-being of children and the community.
