‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’: Union Minister Javadekar inaugurates 5-day photo exhibition at INA Moirang

The exhibition displayed in detail the life story of India's prominent freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhai Patel, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, and also their roles towards the freedom movement.

Bishnupur: Celebrating the 75 years of India’s Independence, a 5-day photo exhibition on the theme ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ held at INA Auditorium, Moirang was virtually inaugurated by Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar. 

Addressing the function, which was organised by the Regional Outreach Bureau (ROB), Imphal, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, Dr. R.K. Ranjan, Lok Sabha MP, elaborated on the significance of INA and Moirang in context with India’s freedom struggle and he also encouraged the students attending the exhibition to work hard and contribute their best in the process of nation building in whatever form they can. 

The exhibition displayed in detail the life story of India’s prominent freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhai Patel, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, and also their roles towards the freedom movement.

The function was also attended by SN Pradhan, IIS, Additional DG (NEZ), Guwahati & Imphal; L. Keshorjit, Joint Director Art & Culture, Govt. of Manipur; L. Bobby, AC to DC Bishnupur and Dr. A. Ibomcha Sharma, IIS, ROB.
